Her commitment to community health earned national recognition, including interviews with Politico Magazine, KFF News, and other media outlets.
Ms. Wilkinson was also one of the first certified NBCUSA H.O.P.E. Health Ministry Health Ambassadors, contributing to a national effort to bring culturally grounded health education to churches and communities.
At The Hill–Hernando Baptist Church, she served as President of the Usher and Health Ministry, leading with warmth and excellence, and creating a welcoming, health-conscious environment. She also served as Assistant Clerk, strengthening church operations and supporting community programs.
As liaison to the Hernando Interfaith Council on Poverty, she helped connect families in Hernando and Nesbit to essential food resources, building bridges across congregations and strengthening collaborative service.
Within the Mid-South Churches Cooperative Conference Baptist State Convention, she served as State Director for Federal Faith-Based Initiatives, helping churches and community organizations access federal programs that support families and expand health access.
Together with her husband, Charles Wilkinson, she co-led Walking with the Wilkinsons, a joyful ministry promoting physical activity, fellowship, and holistic health.
